2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 KeefOz (470) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - AUG 12, 2012
Poured an opague black colour with a four-finger beige/light brown frothy head - reminded me of a milk-shake. Head collapsed quickly and provided short lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, trace of yeast and a trace of hops. Mouthfeel smooth. The mild roasted grain finish was quite pleasant! Medium body.

33cl bottle. Pours black with a brown hue and some head. The nose has cornflakes and a little caramel. The taste has more caramel, in fact toffee with the cereal thing again too. The palate is medium bodied with a tangy middle and a finish that could be cleaner. Overall, have had better dark lagers than this for sure!

Botella de 330ml. Vaso Lager (Antiguas notas). Color marrón oscuro y rubí intenso a contraluz. Cuerpo ligero a medio y carbonatación moderada. Textura aguada. El ABV queda bien camuflado y permite una buena asimilación. Una Euro Lager oscura bastante decente.
330ml bottle. Lager glass. From my notes. Dark brown color, deep ruby to the light. Brownish beige crown presents acceptable retention & short lacing. Roasted malt aroma, sweet touch & candy hues. Flavor profile shows roasted malts, sweet –no annoying- character , hints of licorice, anise & subtle chocolate. Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation. Watery texture. ABV is well hidden so drinkability is ok. Pretty decent Euro Dark Lager.
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 erickok (2282) - Tours, FRANCE - JUN 1, 2012
Brown, filtered down beer. Not much aroma at all here... Bit of malt, old stale bread. grainy sweetness in the taste, very cheap. Ugh. Thin bodied as well, with a bubbly palate to hide that sweetness - it fails miserably! Nasty brew. (From a Valencian supermarket)

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Onslow (922) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Dark, clear brew with a tan head. Glowers a deep deep brown / red when held up to the sun. Aroma of roasted malt, teaberry, a little grass. Taste is a lightly sweet / roasted malt at the start that transitions to a solidly roasted malt finsih. A little alcohol in the finish. Good character and complexity and very tasty.

Aroma is dark malts and a mild nuttiness. The flavor is similar to the aroma. Kind of thin and not strong in flavor but a decent enough dunkel.

Hazy, very dark amber with no head (even on the pour) or lace. Disappointing. Thin caramel that hides under buzzy carbonation, no growth, no bittering, watered down. Better not.
