Bottled, 330ml, a gift from Bill, many thanks. Almost black with brownish head. Quite a sweetish, fruity beer with a smooth caramel note along with blackberry notes. Medium palate, perhaps a little syrupy but really not bad at all. Feeling a little disloyal to Gibraltar by having this at present.

08-JUL-2013, can @hotel room in Salou, Spain. Dark, dark brown with low grey’ish head. Roasted aroma with coffee. Taste the same with some caramel as well. Creamy, soft carbonation, a touch of milky sweetness. A little hoppy bitterness on the finish. OK drink.

Can. Pours a very dark beer with a small brown head on top. Almost a black beer, some brownish notes. Aroma is very malty, tints of chocolate and slight roast. Flavor is sweetish and malty. Short finish, decent dunkel.

Bottle. Deep dark color with a nice light tan head. Aroma was a slight nutty toast aroma with undertones of chocolate and molasses. Flavor was a toast malt flavor that was sweet but in a pleasant way.

Bottle; poured a dark cola brown with a light brown head. Aroma was sweet and a touch malty, but nothing really going on. Flavor was sweet, watery and fairly bland. Some fruit, caramel and nuts. Forgettable.

Bottle; Poured dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma: Malt. Flavor: Tastes a bit like what I imagine pool water to taste like, particularly watery. Not too good.

330 ml. bottle. Pours dark black with a medium-thick, mocha foam that dissipates moderately quick. Aromas of caramel, chocolate, and undertones of citrus. Has a tangy bit of acidity when it first hits the tongue. Taste is lightly sweet with a touch of sourness. Flavors of caramel and chocolate. Body and texture are thin, which (to me) is a bit off-putting for a dark beer. Carbonation is fairly lively and the finish is smooth. Overall I like the look and aroma of the beer, but the body and taste don’t quite match up.

Bottle at a tapas bar in Granada. Dark colour with small head. Almost no aroma. Also the taste is farm away. Nothing special.

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Dancing Camel pub. Black, opaque with tan head. Pickle water, ripe fruit and raisins aroma, sweet, then a little bitter and very delicate fruity taste. Light body, mildly fruity finish. Quite nice, a little metallic finish, Easy to drink.
