2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours slightly hazy dark brown with quickly vanishing light tan head. Faint aroma of malt and nuts. Roasty, malty taste with a note of nuts and coffee. Rather watery mouthfeel. Not bad as such, but not remarkable, either.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
A - Pours almost completely black. 2 finger sparkling tan head.
S - Roasted malt. An old woody aroma, almost like an old church smell. Strange. Raisin and fig come out.
T - Follows the nose. Roasted malt that has somewhat of a stale character. Tart yeast bite with smoky caramel, sweet corn, turns kind of chalky in the middle before a subtly sharp finish. Mouthfeel is thin to medium.
I’m not sure I would qualify this as a session brew. It has some strange aromas going on, which is welcomed sometimes. I would recommend it if you come across it. Glad I tried it.

I love this Beer. Dark in color but not in aftertaste. Goes down smooth with great chocolaty tones. I found this in a very nice Lebanese restaurant.

3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thin, almost tan head. Black body.
Pure rich roasted malt smell.
A nice roasted malt taste too. Mild bitterness a little nutty.
Crisp with a medium body. Holds the flavor well.
Really a solid dark lager. Great taste and smell with that lager "lightness" to it.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33cl bottle. Pours black with a brown hue and some head. The nose has cornflakes and a little caramel. The taste has more caramel, in fact toffee with the cereal thing again too. The palate is medium bodied with a tangy middle and a finish that could be cleaner.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Colour: very black, clear. Coffee aroma. Somewhat thin palate. Nicely balanced sweetness. Not too impressive, but not bad either.
