Thin, almost tan head. Black body. Pure rich roasted malt smell. A nice roasted malt taste too. Mild bitterness a little nutty. Crisp with a medium body. Holds the flavor well. Really a solid dark lager. Great taste and smell with that lager "lightness" to it.

0.33 l can. Black color with quickly disappearing head. Sweet, malty aroma and some yeast maybe. Bittersweet, kinda well balanced taste. Short finishing, medium body, soft carbonation. Not bad.

Can. Black, with a short lived head. Roasty, lactose, and very malty. Not bad. Very faint aroma, a hint of cherry. Perfectly drinkable, but lacking in class.

Dark beer, with a beige and persistent head. The aroma present some roasted malt notes like chocolate or caramel, the body is medium but the mouthfeel is quite watery. The bitterness come at the end, with a good overall balance.

Canned, gift from Simonsen, enjoyed at home
Pours dark, black in glass, nice tanned head. Smell of caramel, hints of toast, some dark malts, nuts and hints of dried fruits. Light to moderate sweet, some ash, quite dry, dark malts, hints of chocolate, caramel, quite clean. Moderate bitter, toasty tail

Foam is serious and persistent. The aroma is limited toasted malt. A little watery taste, but full body which eventually found slightly hazelnut. The bitterness is mild, but maintains a good long finish of sweet malt with some dark cane sugar and caramel. The finish left a bit dry and thin and is not so exciting. It is a good thirst quencher and certainly also well suited for fried meat and barbecue.
