Courtesy SoLan. Almost black pour, loose white head. Light toasty aroma. Mild caramel tastes, clean lager finish. A hint more sweetness than most dunkels.

Jul 13, 2008 Clear chestnut brown with a decent brown head. Aroma is faint of roasted malts and sweetmalts. Some roastyness in the flavor also, but overall very thin.

Jul 8, 2008 Interesting take on a dunkle. This is my first Spanish beer and it was not a terrible experiance.
Decent head and lacing along with some sweet malt presence but something was a bit ’off’.
Finish wasn’t great and I agree it was a bit thin.
But it’s drinkable.

Jun 17, 2008 330 ml bottle. Pours a dark cola color with a moderate off-white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left light lace. Light sweet malt in the aroma along with an odd plastic smell. The flavor is a bit better with malt and some brown sugar. Mild to moderate bitterness at the finish. Light bodied. Thin, watery mouthfeel.

Jun 14, 2008 Pours a red-black colour with thin creamy head. Texture is quite thick and silky. Mild flavour, a little bittersweet.

Jun 8, 2008 Bottle from Village Pub, KY. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy light brown head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Heavy sweet malty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet short finish. My expectations were met.
