Strykzone (1071), Wood River, Illinois, USA Nov 5, 2006 This is better beer than 2.1, but it is not a great beer. It is pretty good tasting and is one of those beers that have no real negatives. There is also an absence of positives, too. It was crisp, clean and refreshing but it had macro brew written all over it.
D (503), Kraków, Poland Oct 6, 2008 A very pleasant suprise in Granada. Hoppy flavour, bitter end - nothing extraordinary - but the strong herbal notes in flavour make it very intrugining, especially considering that it’s a Spanish lager. Kinda reminiscent of Sam Adams, thought not that complex. Very good still, gotta try more at home since it’s available. JonnyDr (128), , South Yorkshire, England Oct 1, 2008 Pale yellow pour with little head. Grainy hoppy and slightly bitter. Boring. Go for its Reserva big brother. Bov (4744), Bienne, Switzerland Aug 29, 2008 canned; courtesy of Antonio Rey Ruiz - translucide and bright golden colour with a little white foam; nice lace; mellow nose of butter and corn; watery and tasteless palate, no bitterness and a shy corny aftertaste - close to water hellbilly (940), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Aug 27, 2008 brownish shade of golden with a white head and lasting ring (i drink fast). the nose is quite grainy with notes of honey, caramel, earth and a touch of spice. a bit sweet for the lack of a payoff... taste is vegetal, grass, skunky hops and a spicy-ish finish which lingers into the aftertaste. light body is possibly medium from the sugar. also, an acidic mouth feel. Pinball (822), Allerød, Denmark Aug 14, 2008 sweet flavor. some of the aspects of english beers like carling in this one, even though it is spanish. taste is corn, sawdust, spices. one of the smoother beers from spain.
