2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
From a 11.15 oz. embossed long neck slender brown bottle with no bottled/freshness date.
Actually made a really nice appearance, poured a clear lager golden with a large fluffy head that slowly settled into a thin fluffy skim-like lacing, fair amount of sticking, good carbonation.
Had a nose of cereal, bready and grainy malts with a grassy macro hoppiness in the background.
A crisp, dryish and smooth medium bodied mouthfeel, above average macro lager drinkability.
Taste like you would expect a decent macro lager to taste, also the medium body of this lager helps it’s drinkability, husky and cereal grainy, a light grassiness mixed with a sour breadiness and dryish malty finish with a soft herbalness lingering in the palate.
Not bad, better than I was expecting, a decent macro lager, for me, better than most American macros, worth trying.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
1 Litre Bottle (£2.99, Morrisons):
Light with some sweet notes and a touch of corn coupled with some very mild citrus and hints of grassy hops. There are a few grain and malts traces too but overall it is pretty weak.
Very clear and with a pale straw coloured body, topped with a finger sized, bubbly white head that quickly settled to a patchy lacing on top.
Light & inoffensive but not at all a good taste, there is some light lager malts and some mild, grassy hops alongside a touch of sweetness and a subdued, almost watered down bitterness.
Smooth & pretty thin bodied with a very sweet palate and mild carbonation.
A cheap, macro pale lager that is very ordinary and unexciting with not much going for it other than how easy it is to drink down, probably due to how thin it was. There is a light, bland taste to the beer and it’s not one I’ll be looking to try again.

No está nada mal, pero para este tipo de cervezas me quedo con la mahou. Su sabor te deja un poco indiferente. Esperaba algo más.
