A very pleasant surprise! I expected an overpriced fancy-bottled pale lager with little character, but I was completely wrong. Rich deep amber colour, thick head delivering good lace. Terrific aromas of grassy hops and-- best of all!-- noticable malt. The same is found on the palate in excellent balance, with a nice mouthwatering bitterness and a crisp finish. Maybe it is because my expectations were so low, but I would recommend this and have it again happily!

Bottle: Poured a ginger-ale color lager with large bubble and a medium head with average retention. Very strange looking beer. Aroma of malt and crisp hops is clearly identifiable and no trace of skunk even though green bottle had to travel 3000 miles. Taste is quite refreshing with very fresh and crisp hops. Easy to distinguish from a pale lager and quite refreshing .

Bit of a surprise this one.....probably because I thought it was a pale larger. Nice crisp style, pilsner style coming into play, but filled out with decent malt weight. Although this is a simple beer it’s a great example of crisp, thirst quenching texture well matched with noticable malts.

(Bottle 33 cl) Comes in a cool, green glass bottle without label. Fully golden with a small, white head. Weak aroma of malt. Quite full-bodied with plenty and very pronounced alcohol - and then not really anything else. Quite bitter finish. 280705

Light hoppy nose, some underlying malts. Golden body, small white head. Slight hop flavor along with some malt. Quite clean in aroma and flavor.

Bottle. Golden colour with a big white head. Caramel malty light grainy aroma and a sweet caramel malty light dry grainy taste. Medium body and a dry finish.
