Klar gulbrun med tynt hvitt skum. Malt kornete lukt. Lite smak, litt kvalmende søtlig smak. Dårlig med ettersmak å snakke om.

20.01.2014. 0,33l Bottle. Brought home from Malaga, Spain. There is no label on the bottle. Nice bottle. Soft grassy aroma. Fresh and easy drinkable beer. Malty body with moderate bitterness. At the end there is more of the grassy hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Gorgeous colour but minimal head on pouring. A slight metallic taste but it’s not unpleasant, it gives it more "going on" than a standard lager. Could do with a bit more to excite the palate but at the end of the day this is a lager not an IPA or some such.

330 ml etched-label green bottle bought at CitySuper in New Town Plaza, Shatin.

Clear golden amber colour; One-quarter finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Moderate sticky lacing with fizzy carbonation; Strong sweet smell of malt, with initial light skunk (gone in 1 minute), corn syrup, grains, faint floral, bread, faint lemon and smelly grass; Moderate sweet taste of malt, with light syrup, faint wet cardboard, bread, light grains, light lemon and light grass; Medium body, oily thick and slightly creamy palate; Mouth feel is pretty malty despite a rather thin palate, sugar syrupy taste is fairly low, actually tasted quite nice. Good feel of thick white bread, with very slight wet cardboard. No fusel, no screaming booze, nor any other off tastes bar some very light residual skunks. Pretty good… Hoppiness is faint lemon and smelly grass in nose, light citrus and faint grass taste. Barely detectable bitterness for a fruity, slightly sweet finish; Fairly dry after taste, slightly creamy and easy to mouth.

Comments: Initial skunky hops aside, this is a really well-made Euro Strong Pale - sweetness is very subdued, booze has no fusel nor band aid, pretty fat maltyness, nice thickness with slight creamy palate - Pretty enjoyable all the way. If the brewer can do away the stupid green bottle, it’ll be even better. Recommended.

(Bottle): Pours a clear golden colour, medium white head. Aroma of grain, soap, grass. Flavour is quite sweet caramel, malt, grain, citrus fruits. Not bad overall considering the style, was expecting much worse from the aroma.
