330ml bottle, comes in a nice moulded glass bottle with no label. Grainy malt with caramel, nice malty backbone, and a light hop bitterness. Lively carbonation. A bit lacking in flavour, but a decent enough malty strong lager.

Aroma: bread and hints of caramel malts. Appearance: light gold, medium white head. Taste: light sweet, very light bitters. Palate: medium carbonation, alcohol, bit bitter towards the end, not much else. Overall: OK Strong Pale Lager, bit boring, but that is probably common to this style. Bottle at Tapas Brindisa, Soho, London.

So this was the bus that hit me last night, interesting, I thought it was a double decker. Introduced to it by some Brazilians I was working with, this is a typical pale lager like most pale lagers except that it breaches the 6% threshold unlike most. I think I would puke if I smelled it again.

Pours a clear light brown with a tiny head, not too much happening in the flavour department. A bit of a disappointment but not terrible.
