Fancy green embossed 33cl bottle: poured @ home into a Duvel glass on 16 Nov 2012. Looked fine, in fact it looked good, a nice clear, clean, light amber body waith a full white head (at first). The aroma was of malts and nuts, with a mini yeast presence in the smell as well. The taste was more malts than hops with the alcohol content also being detectable in the mouth feel. Fairly thin for a ’super lager’ and I’m sure three 33cl bottles would give almost anyone a hangover, even so I quite enjoyed the thing.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Naama’s place. Thanks Ariel. Clear golden. Aroma of graininess, alcohol, acetone, sweetish flavor, grainy, with alcohol. Rather light-bodied, slightly sticky.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear golden color with large soapy white head, fair lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma is grassy, grainy and dusty. Taste starts moderate sweet grainy with toasted malts’ note, following is grassy sour and dusty, mouhfeel is dry, while finish is moderate bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. This one looks nice, but sinks into oblivion after few sips...

Very sweet nose. Golden beer, no carbonation. Solid white head. Oily texture, malty taste. Aftertaste is slight hops and more malt. Alcohol is present throughout. Not bad, not outstanding.

Blonde body with ok head. I wasn’t expecting much from this, but it was a surprisingly crisp and well-balanced, easy-drinking pilsener--an excellent complement to seafood. Clean, feintly floral, and crisp finish.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2015 Bottle. Fairly standard appearance, medium carbonation. The aroma is reminiscent of butter and comfortably hoppy. Clear liquid, appetising. The taste is better than other lagers around here, definitely a good choice among other similar beers. Bitterness is fresh and not overwhelming, typical for a lager, and the flavours are well-developed (while not as complex as those in ales, these are arguably good for a regular lager). The texture is pleasantly thin, which renders it very drinkable and refreshing. I’d recommend this lager instead of other Spanish ones, since it is very nice and interesting. In Spain, it is widely available in most bars/restaurants.
