Draft. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of hops, roasted malt, caramel, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and soy sauce, leading to a dry finish.

Fra fad, Søernes Ølbar. Stoflig brunsort sag med et cremet, lysebrunt skum. Fløjlsfed. Lakridset. Svedsket. Fyldig. Ristet. Ok bitter. En Imperial Porter efter min smag.

Draught @ Fermentoren. Opaque pitch black color, nice creamy medium brown head that lasts for quite a while and leaves great lacing. Taste malts, light to moderately roasty, a superb bitterness, lightly liquorice. Long lasting roasty bitterness in the finish. Lovely oily thick and velvety mouthfeel, full body and suitable soft carbonation. Lovely stuff!!

On tap. Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma is of roasted malt and coffee. Lots of coffee in this one. And roasted malt, hops, molasses, fruits, notes of salt/soy and a bit of vanilla and smoke. Overall sweetish but not too much. Body is above average and carbonation low. Aftertaste is dry and bitter. This is a solid, if a bit unspectacular imperial stout. It’s very good - way above average, but doesn’t feel special.

Draft @ Fermentoren. Pours a pitch black beer with a beautiful creamy beige head on top. Aroma has touches of bourbon, molasses, sweet booze and dark caramel. Flavor is very sweet and boozy. Loads of dark fruits in there, big caramel and boozy sweetness. Thick, oily mouthfeel, long sweet aftertaste. Very good.
