Oh yeah! We slow roasted over 120 pounds of locally grown pie pumpkins and added them into a variation of our Crimson Halo. This fall offering has a subtle hint of fresh spice, and a toasty malt character. The pumpkins lend this beer its color, and a nice smoothness on the palate.

Grains: Pale, Caravienne, Munich, Aromatic, Biscuit.
Hops: Fuggle, Willamette

Pours a copper orange with a white head. Aroma of some pumpkin spices and malts. Not too overpowering though. Tastes similar. Sweet taste.

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2013 Draught @ Brewery: Also known as Hallowed Pumpkin Ale. This one pours a hazy, slightly orangish amber color. There was a small off white head on it that left a little lacing. It has a nice nose. A good whiff of pumpkin pie spices, but not overpowering. A bit of pumpkin in there also. The taste is also good. Malty, with some pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice flavors. A hint of sweetness and a bit of hops balancing it in the finish. A nice seasonal.

Nice pumpkin taste with hint of nutmeg. Creamy feel to the body. Hazy with some thickness to hit. Pretty good.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a hazy orange-copper color with a medium sized foamy orange-tan head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweet pumpkin with mild notes of nutmeg and cinnamon. The flavor is somewhat bitter and tangy with malty toasted caramel, pumpkin, nutmeg and cinnamon and a bready undertone. Medium length tangy pumpkin and nutmeg finish. Medium body. The pumpkin pie spices are held in check well by the tangy caramel and bread and keep this one from being one dimensional. A really nice version compared to the overly spiced ones that are flooding the market.
