On tap at Independent Brewery. Pours a clear brown with a thin light tan head. Aroma of coffe grounds, roasted malt, chocolate malt, roasted nuts. Flavor of coffee, roasted peanuts, roasted malt. Smooth and light palate. Tons of coffee in this one, delicious!

Poured a medium brown with a beige head. Aroma was of roast and coffee, dirty. Flavor similar, astringent.

@ bocktown. Yes, coffee is the word of the day, especially sinday @10AM. Keggs & eggs they call it, heheh. Dark but not pitch. Well behaved I’d say. Does have a farmy attitude on top of a nicely roasted friendly dark beer attitude. Fairly flat. A good mild coffee beer that is not in yer face.

Strong coffee aroma. Flavor is a lot better than aroma for me. Coffee fades fast but creamy chocolate flavors take over. Really nice mouthfeel. After taste is a little dull. Overall very nice

Pours a dark black with very little head. The coffee notes are subtle in the nose but really come through well and blend nicely with the smooth mouthfeel. Though the IBUs are 40 you won’t notice much in the way of hops here.

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2015 This beer keeps getting better. Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy brown head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dryish, roasty and a bit woody with a coffee note. The flavor was dryish, a bit toasty and woody with moderate coffee and vanilla presence. Medium length toasty malt and coffee finish. Medium body. Solid.
