Palate: Creamy and soft.
Overall: I enjoy this, though after Hennepin it’s hard to enjoy this fully.

Aromas of fresh lemon, nectarine, and subtle biscuit. Hazy pale gold with a constantly forming, white head. Dry, bitter, citrusy, and floral. Light, zippy, refreshing, and finishes abruptly with lingering fruit and mild bread.

Had it on tap. Poured a light, hazy golden color with a finger length, white head that slowly dissipates into a cap. Strong bready aromas, with oranges, pears, and white grapes. Much lighter on the tongue. Yeasty and malty flavors are there, and they leave a champagne like aftertaste. Light-medium bodied beer, and goes down smooth. Good beer.

From notes sampled Aug 19 2010 at Eb’s Pours a fairly clear straw yellow color with a smallish white head that shows some stickage. Smells grainy and bready with a bit of sweet honey light pomme fruits and an earthy funky yeast edge. The flavor is light fruity and refreshing. Lots of bready and sweet honey like malts with light sweet fruits and an earthy peppery yeasty flavor. Medium to light body with a crisp bubbly mouthfeel. Great easy drinking light fruity Belgian brew.

pineypower (2527) - Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA - AUG 12, 2012
Growler from Spirits Bayville at James’ B-Day party. Pours out a well carbonated, clear golden color with a nice white head. Aroma is of pear, fruity yeast, light spice and a touch of apple and mild bitterness. Taste is smooth, clean and waaayyy too easy drinking to be 8.2%. Notes of light spice, apple, grain, fruity yeast, and a light bitterness on the finish. Tasty.

Draft from Coalhouse Pizza. Flavorful belgian ale with notes of honey. Most of the flavor comes from the yeast, but it’s not over the top. For its ABV, this is very drinkable and smooth. Lacking complexity, but solid.
