3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Rattle’n’Hum Allagash event. A light, sweet Belgian that tastes pretty close to a strong wit. Astringent too, with some malted wheat flavor. Surprisingly high ABV. Pleasant springlike aroma and a sweet finish.

Sampled at the 2012 American Craft Beer Festival. The spicy yeast stood out in this. A good beer for the style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Cerveceria Mateveza. Hazy blonde pour with a one-finger whitish head. The aroma is nice and true to style, with Belgian yeast, honey, and pale malt. Some floral hops. The flavor is good and balanced. Not too sweet or hoppy, with pale malt, maybe some candi sugar, Belgian yeast, and a mild floral and citrusy hop note. Medium-bodied with higher carbonation and a pleasant lively mouthfeel. A very good example of the style.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy very pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is lightly grassy. Flavor is straw and grassy with just a touch of hoppy spice. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is dry and abrupt. Somewhat boring.
