Pours straw gold with a pink hue and a white fizzy dissipating head. Smells of funky cherries, tarte, some sugary hints. Tastes of dry malt, some floral notes that quickly give way to tarte cherries. Interesting blend.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured cloudy reddish amber color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Heavy tart fruit and wood aroma. Medium to abundant body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Heavy tart & sweet flavor with a heavy sweet finish of long duration. This is a standout beer.

375 ml bottle shared with the group. Pours a hazy golden/orange color with a small white head. The aroma is tart/sour cherries, acidic, woody, funk, Brett, mild caramel and perhaps a touch of sweat. The flavor has tart/sour cherries, hints of caramel, acidic, woody, hints of spice and funk. On the dry side; a very interesting beer. I liked this slightly better than Resurgam.

375 ml bottle to snifter (shared by alexsdad06). Looks good; a hazy fruity orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells funky with notes of barnyard, cherry, and oak. Tastes like it smells with a pleasant mouthfeel. Great beer.

Bottle at Nacht van de Grote Dorst, shared with Mathieu87. APPEARANCE: clouded red/orange beer, nice stable white head. NOSE: cherries, fruity, wood, sour. TASTE: cherries, very sour, little too dry for me.

Bottle at, of all places, the Grote Dorst. Pours a pinkish amberish red with some white bubbles. Aroma is sour cherry, lemon, cider, orange marmalade, oak, fruity Brett. Taste is rich apricot, peach, sour cherry with bitter almond, grape-skin tannins, and young red wine. Simple and fruity but pleasant. Very nice.

375mL bottle, sent from Gregg657 (thanks a lot, Pete), pours an opaque cloudy pinkish orange amber with a small, quickly-dissipating white head. Nose brings out an authentic lambic barnyard funk, followed by cherries, and a touch of horse blanket. Flavour is that of a pretty damn authentic lambic, with a little more alcoholic kick, revealing notes of funk, dry tart cherries, brett and a little alcohol. Really robust and very Belgian-esque - would stack up amongst the best of them. Very elegant and a pleasure to drink. A shame it’s just a one-off rarity.

At cat-infested house during GABF 2013. Aroma is big sour, grapefruit, incredibly pleasant sour notes, medium acidity. Taste is big sour, grapefruit, lemon tart, and tangy. I like this shit a lot, would bang again.
