Bottle @ Stephen’s house, courtesy of Lukaduke. You are my fucking hero. Pours a beautiful, bright dark pink appearance with a small, off white head. Super bright, raspberry seed, quite funky, huge zesty fruity, lemon citrusy, somewhat woody aroma. Super beautiful aroma. Fairly cheesy, incredibly enveloping rich fresh raspberry flavor that completely dominates my palate. This is a bit of acidity on the finish but super bright, fresh, and juicy raspberry flavor. Tons of funk, dust, and some cheese. Unbelievable stuff. Fuck yeah.

Pour is slightly hazy red with thin to no white head, bottle big thanks to Greg! Aroma has notes of big fruity raspberries, raspberry seeds, vanilla, oak and woodiness, some cheesy funky, lactic acid tart notes, really nice and well balanced. Taste is big funky horse and barnyard, some slight farmhouse style funky notes as well, slight sweet raspberry balances well with a very dry oaky and tannic presence, slight lemony tart, finishes dry, oaky, funky and a slight sweetness again from the raspberry. Very, very nice.

Bottle thanks to Avalon68 on BA! Crystal clear light strawberry pour, little ring of carbonation and a wonderful aroma of fresh tart raspberries. Flavor starts out with a little biting acidity, then mellows into more tart raspberries, cherry and nice lingering sour aftertaste. Well done.

2012 release. Pours a deep red color with a finger of pink fizzy foam. Aromas a basement funk a touch of phenols and a ton of fresh raspberry ! On the palate its tight fruit and dusty funk. Nice acidic backbone balanced out with bright raspberry with a touch of sweetness. Really refreshing with nice lactic sourness and some earthy mushroom, basement oak in the finish.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2011 Bottle pour thanks to Dalzale! What a champ. Cork comes out with a fair pop, but no gushing. Pour is a slightly hazy light cherry red, with a spare white head an just a touch of lacing. Haze is due to this being the 4th pour....the first was crystal clear. Aroma is punchy tart raspberries, lots of fruit seeds, lightly funky. Lemony. Some light damp basement aromas as well hiding in there. Taste is saliva drawing sour, some papery notes, lots of fruity berry seeds. Fair bit of funk right in the middle, moving to some more jammy white fruit and finishing dry after a bit of sugaryness that seems kinda out of place, but I am just nitpicking here. Great beer.

The bottle gave a nice pop from the cork revealing ample carbonation. Pour from the bottle gave a somewhat murky bright red colored beer with some nice white head. The aromas were funky, earthy, cheesy. Raspberries pure clean and natural. Grape and berries in addition.Nice tartness with a balanced lactic quality. Flavors linger and remain on your palate for some time ending dry and not overly sweet or sticky.Very reminiscent of a great Belgian sour in my opinion. Really liked this beer very much .

Poured from a 375ml bottle at the Lupulin Reunion 2012 at RFD DC. Damn, this looks sexy. Bright, neon red with some fluffy white head. Nose is big, strawberry, raspberry, grass, hay, grapefruit, lemon. Flavor is very tart, grapefruit, lemon, bright raspberry, young tart strawberry, sweet tarts, some lactic acid. Full bodied, bright, acidic finish. Really punchy acidity right now.
