Carbonation is very soft. lots of subtle fruit aromas and flavours. Also quite a bit of spice in the flavour, the oak really comes through, the aging really added another dimension to the beer, but i’m not sure i’m a big fan of this new dimension

The flavour is rather soft, sweet and alcoholic with a good maltiness, fruits, wood and yeast. Clear yellow / light amber color with a small fizzy fair lacing mostly diminshing off-white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, fruit, toffee, oak whisky, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Very smooth. Theis (3617), Denmark May 16, 2007 Bottle at Københavnske Øldage 2007. Clear yellow - white head. Fruity, apple, pear, pepper, yeasty, oak, light bourbon, sweetness, nice hoppy. Very smooth.
