4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Aroma is sour and citrus, and a little boozey. Appearance is golden, cloudy, minimal head. Taste is sour with a full taste of bourbon. Palate, body is medium, texture a little thick and oily, flat of carbonation, finish is long. Overall an excellent beer I would recommend to anybody!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear gold with a white head and lacing. It has a great oaky aroma with some bready yeast and a bit of bourbon. The flavor is gold malt and bread up front with a slightly spicy finish over a medium body.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This has been on my list of beers to try for some time now. I had this on draft years ago, and I believe the keg was infected.
The appearance is translucent and light copper with a fluffy, tan head. The aroma brings an odd combination of Belgian yeast, citric spice, bourbon, vanilla, oak. Not off-putting, just unusual. Certainly an interesting brew. A lot going on, though I must say, I would prefer any of the better tripel beers to this. While the barrel-aging is well executed, I don’t believe it adds to a beer of this ilk. There are some flavors that just naturally clash, and perhaps bourbon and tripels were not meant to be united.

Other than a bit of haze in the appearance, this is awesome. The bourbon really plays nice with the triple base beer.
