Wow. What a beer! In a bad way. I had this one off tap. The pour was slightly hazy. The beer was bright yellow. And, the aroma has a slight hopiness and spice to it. And, then I tasted this beer. At first it is clean. And, then wam pow, wow! Fresh oak and bourbon all over the place! It is like a premixed boiler maker! No thank you! If I wanted overpowering bourbon, I would order it! Kudos for experimenting. But, this one is not for me!

Draft @ Yard House. Very nice "Belgian" aroma. Golden honey color. Nice banana and clove flavor! Great body. Overall, a superb beer!

Pours a hazy golden color with a white head. Fruit, oak, yeast and malt aroma. Apple, pear, yeast, sugar, vanilla, oak, bourbon, alcohol and malt flavors. Medium full body and average carbonation. Fruit, oak and bourbon finish. Fresh bottle 4/11/14

Sample at Boulevardia. Comes golden orange with a nice white head. Aroma of bourbon, fruit, and yeast. Taste is bourbon, fruit, yeast, vanilla, spice, and wood. Very good, perhaps too much bourbon taste.

Probably my favorite Triple! Some good funky yeast flavor that works well with the vanilla bourbon. Way too smooth for 11% ABV so it can be dangerous. I would rate it higher (4.1 probably) but at $22 a bottle it loses some appeal to me since it isn’t something I would buy frequently due to its insane price. Not sure if I’m suppose to consider price in my ratings but I do what I want so deal with it. If you don’t like how I rate beers boot me off the site like my brother Krompt but keep in mind I’m a non-paying customer to the site who refuses to click on any sidebar advertising so beware the consequences!

This one poured a hazy darker yellow with a white head. Aroma was big Bourbon, oak, yeast and dark fruits. Flavor was big Bourbon upfront, woody, with a nice tripel body pepping ot up. I liked this one

On tap at Whole Foods. Pours a translucent and light copper with a fluffy, tan head that fades to light lacing. Aroma is Belgian yeast, citric spice, bourbon, vanilla, oak. Flavor is same with banana sweetness, spiciness from yeast and bourbon intensity in the finish. Having had this several times before, I’m more aware of the curious combination of tripel and bourbon. Solid, but certainly curious.

It is as described but not that exciting for our group overall . Very drinkable. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

Bottle shared by DrewFace. Pours a fairly clear golden color with medium sized white head. Light booze in the nose along with some perfume and spiciness from the base tripel. taste is initially sweet but dries out nicely. A compliment of spiciness without being to phenolic, fruity esters, and a subtle booze character from the barrel all seem to work well together.

Bottle share thanks to DrewFace. Pours a golden yellow with white head. Aroma is a mix of wine and tartness. Taste is a mix of wine, boost malt. Interesting beer.

Pours a fairly clear, light orange color. Sweet, caramel malt, oaky, light bourbon, and a hint of a sweet tart note. Sweet, malty, Belgian yeast character, spicy phenols, vanilla, oak, and bourbon and some alcohol heat in the finish.
