Poured a murky brown color with a nice off white head. Aroma was very sweet and malty with a nice vineous apple smell. Flavor was a bit subdued but very smooth candy sugar and dark fruits and spices.

Bottle, Kegs & Barrels, McKinney, TX. Poured a hazy copper with very nice beige head, excellent retention, stayed with the beer. Aroma of light citris, almost like an orange/apple. Flavor is a little lighter then what I imagined for a double, slight sweet with citris notes, very small bitter. Palate seemed very light but nicely carbonated, medium-high for this mouthfeel. Overall, not bad, pretty good, just somewhat watery....The appearance was the best thing about this beer.....

Tasty, flavorful, and a good standard for a dubbel. Nice reddish brown color, medium large bubbled head. Good malt character, not too sweet, mainly dry. A little gravitation towards the dark fruits (raisins), but more towards the wine like character. Little apple on the nose and tongue.

Bottle-batch 70. Pours a copper hazey color with a lot of small bubbles. Thick light tan head with lacing. Malt and sweet chocolaty flavor with a bit of a dry finish.

Pours transparent brown with long-lasting tan/white head, lots of lacing. Nose is caramel and nuts with some roasts, Flavor has a lot of roast and bready yeast, a little sour in the swallow, with smooth but noticeable palate. Straightforward dubbel, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Pours a dark rich mahogany with a slim and now almost gone except around the edges of the tulip glass white large bubbled head. Smells of dark nuts and apple or pear skins. Maybe some dark fruits as well. Very nice body in the mouth with well lively carbonation. NIce and chewy. Little milk chocolate hinting on the palate with some nice and dry dark malt flavor. Not too impressed, but a nice beer all the same

poured chestnust brown with a head of small white bubbles, which laced nicely on the glass. Aroma was delicate, but featured notes of cocoa, and an earthiness that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. Flavor was alright, very dry, and earthy with some cocoa. Alsp had a weird hop note that was pretty citrussy. mouthfeel of fine bubbles and excellent digestibility. I was kind of diappointed overall because they flavor just wasn’t there, but not bad.
