Poured cloudy yellow with a rocky white head that exploded out of the glass. Good lacing. Spicy sweet aroma packed with ginger, cinnamon, coriander, nutmeg, etc. Lemon zest and sweet yeast esters as well. Carbonated, but still heavy in the mouthfeel. The taste is outstanding. Pleasant yeast/banana flavors with orange and lemon zest blended with the lighter malt. Different spice combinations seemed to hit you, similar but never the same. A sweet honey and wheat finish that lingers. And have to agree with JohnGalt1, chamomile is present as well, or at least the spice combination resembles it. Loved it.

Hazy golden beer. Soft and dry palate. A little dry creamy malt. Sweetish grapefruit and orange and nicely judged spice. A touch of ginger I fancy and same with pepper. Joins up in to a nice spiced beer. Finishes is a tad over dry.

Bottle thanks to Aaron, pours hazy orange with thin to no white head. Aroma has notes of ginger, some coriander, biscuit, touch of fruit notes as well, with even more ginger on there as well. Really ginger forward, the taste was similar with notes of lemon, lots of ginger, spice and biscuit notes, finishing with more ginger, slightly dry slightly sweet finish.

Huge ginger, orange citrusy, mildly spicy, slightly tangy, nice belgian flavor. Really a nice Belgian ale with a fuckload of ginger.

Little bit of head on the initial pour. Light golden color with decent carbonation. It has aged a bit. I smell pear, apples and cinnamon. I taste apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, slight wheat and lemon. Delicious beer highly recommended.

Poured a hazy light yellow with little foam. Aroma is heavy on spice, marmelade, and some distinct clove. Taste up front has a good bit of clove, coriander, sweet malts and spices common to belgian yeast. Body is fairly light and the alcohol is mostly hidden under the spices. Carbonation is very soft. Quite pleasantly aged.

Sweet and light spice and sour aroma. Cloudy golden color with a small white head. Sweet beginning with a light cinnamon spice finish. Light palate.

750 ml Bottle. Double White. Pours a hazed cloudy orange/yellow with slight head. Aroma is spicy peppercorns, ginger, chamomile, doughy wheat, and some phenols- vanilla and bubblegum- and almost a unibroue yeast phenol- with pepper?. Flavor is doughy wheat, lemon, pepper, ginger, tingly on the tongue a bit- with a moderately sweet finish- some earth in the end.

Bottle courtesy of Rori. I’ve had this on tap, and in bottle many times, but this one was really special. Aged 2 years this bottle was so much better than it was when I originally had it. The ginger really stands out and has mellowed out since originally bottled. I think this is an absolutely brilliant brew. If you can find one now...I’d strongly recommend drinking it!

straw tinted golden yellow pour with a spotty white head.
the best way to describe the aroma would be a mix of the asian and indian isles at the international market... man, this is weird... and pretty effen cool to smell... sweet curry powder, coriander!, ginger, turmeric, clove, cinnamon, orange peel, a dusty vacant store and pale malty sweetness.
the flavor is quite yeasty and a smaller version of the aroma.... luckily , the curry is subdued. though there is an umami note which really comes out as it sits. light lemon-y finish combines with ample carbonation and a medium body to make this one crazy easy drinking beer... though not the best imperial wit it IS pretty friggin odd. 8/4/8/3/16/3.9
