Bottle courtesy of Dany after TAP-NY. Pours a deep brown to black with a large tanned white to beige head. Big chewy roast on the nose with a little bit of sourness. Tastes of salty old chocolate. Wrong and old. Plums and cocoa, chocolate and long roast. Lingering old cocoa and weird oxidization.

750ml bottle shared by jsprime. deep brown, tan head. oxidized malt and sour fruit nose. the flavour is bizzare, dirty yeast, sour fruit, minimal malt. this hasnt aged well at all and doesnt even come close to resempling an imperial stout, dissapointing.

Pours an opaque chocolate brown with dark chocolate head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is a mix of almond, dark chocolate and a hint of soy. Flavor is raisin, soy, chocolate. Body is creamy with very active carbonation.

750mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks Dany), pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of cocoa nibs, some licorice or anise, almost no roast and no coffee notes. Flavour seems vinegary and plasticy, infected bottle?, with some tart cherry, acetone, vinegar and no sign of the cocoa nibs. Is this right? Seems either infected or poorly put together. Not too enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours clean solid black with small tan head. Aroma of dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, grain. Flavour of soured cherry, chocolate, wood, vanilla, dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee. Throat warmer. Quite abrasive, with a odd flavour i am struggling to locate.

Acquired in trade. Pours near black with nice, 1 finger espresso head. Aroma is dark chocolate, fudge brownie, molasses. Taste is sweet with a little roast and some light bitterness. Medium bodied and slick texture. Smooth and delicious!
