On tap at Local Republic. Pale gold with a big, yellow head. Notes of citrus, bananas, wheat, and coriander. Very sweet, with a small citrus tartness and mild spiciness. Medium body, grainy and velvety, with a lot of carbonation and a crisp, citrusy finish. Overall, this is a delicious and flavorful beer.

Hazy gold little bit of lace; not much aroma but Flava is citrusy yet not tart , nice blend of yeast and hops and graininess gives it a robust character reminiscent of saison; crisp refreshing love in a glass

GABF, 2012. I thought I was drinking a wit. Aroma of spice and cloves. Sweet flavor with some yeast and a little citrus. Cloudy, yellow appearance. Pretty good as a wit, or any other kind of beer.

Bottle - 750mL corked and caged. Aroma is yeasty and grainy with soft peppery spices, dried fruit, and malt notes. Taste is sweet malt, soft fruit, light grains, soft peppery spices, light dusty yeast, and light flowery notes. Body is medium with a strong, effervescent carbonation. Faint pepper notes on the palate afterwards. Ends with more spice and pepper up front, malt, ripe fruit notes, grains and dusty yeast in the middle and during the finish. Nice!

Draft at Monks. 2012 version. Hazy yellow pour with a big frothy white head. Some runny lace. Syrupy amber fruit. Bit overly sweet. Like a Tripel. Some dry floral notes as well. Unusual wheat notes from the Spelt. Nectarine. Honeycomb. Bit too sweet, but interesting. Somehow a sweet pucker that finishes mostly dry. Not a big fan of this year’s brew.

Light aroma, flavor is spicy and grainy... Not that impressed, kind of expected more, not terribly complex... Decent

Tap at the blind tiger. Overly sweet, fruity, a little bit of spice... what else is new. This is, in all respects, a very mediocre Belgian ale that I would expect from other breweries but not from allagash. Not sure what else even to say; I could describe complexities but there is little point.
