750ml bottle: Batch 20. Poured a beautiful, opaque, dark amber with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Aroma: caramel malts, booze, yeast, notes of fruit & pepper. Taste: caramel malts, pepper, mild fruit, yeast, mild booze, all over a hoppy backbone. Full body, nice depth, good balance. Mild alcohol warming in the finish and a little dry. Mouth feel is almost syrupy (but not sticky). Overall: excellent - really enjoyed this Quad.

This beer is pretty tasty, and it’s from a style I don’t tend to get that excited about. Aroma is caramel, molasses, and dark fruit. Color is a dark amber with a good head, tight lacing. Taste is floral, cereal, nuts, caramel, and bourbony. Palate is rich and creamy. Pretty decent beer, but I am not sure it’s worth price tag for my taste.
