750 mL bottle served- to myself- insert nipple twisting gasp here- in a trappist glass (I just supassed the 75 character limit here- but this is an HONEST review...) poured a moderately oblong (huh?) brown that was 66.8 percent transparent into black, moderatedly lacing from a 2.7 mm off tan head. Aroma could be described as candy sugar (not candi sugar) interlaced with a caramel malt. It will hit your mouth from the full bottle sample, not the 1.8 oz. sample, as a beer, but will identify a malt laced with a lab added sugar (sucrose, not dextrose), the middle holds approximately 99.7% of the malt where the "majickal" process of trans-ementaltranslucification occurs where little merry blue men take your tongue for a ride off the 1.7 oz. side, off to where Obama says it’s ALL GOOD... and then it takes you to where your seat feels like a giant marshmellow, and then you are loved by everyone, and then...THEN...(cough cough)... sorry, the joke is on you, not me. (HEAVILY CENSORED- for those that speak Russian). My Jan. purchase sipped in April- price- $17.99 USD, Worth it? Nyet.

On tap at Battleship Brewhouse. Pours a deep hazy amber color. Aroma is of malts, floral, and some hops. Flavor is full of malts, with some citrus, floral, and a little bitterness. Leaves a malt finish.

Cask @ 2010 ATL Cask Ale Tasting. Poured a hazy amber with a thin egg shell head. Slightly boozy, vinous nose with notes of caramel, floral hops, and candi sugar. Medium body with a creamy mouth feel. Flavor is mostly sweet with big fruity notes of fig, plum, and raisin, there also some secondary notes of chocolate and spice present. Finishes sweet with the chocolate notes even more present.

Bottle. Dark auburn with thick creamy foam, like ice cream head and lots of lace. Aroma is jammy, strawberry jam. Sweet smelling. Silky soft palate. Nice body but wow--this one is very sweet! Too sweet for me. Can tell it’s a well-made beer but is just so jammy. I might prefer this with age on it.

Cybercat (1735) - Georgia, USA - MAR 20, 2010
Pours a semi-translucent honey golden with a thick, fine-bubbled, pale yellow-cream head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and slightly sweet. Richly fruity flavor has hints of yeast, malt and honey - quite tasty. Lively, tingly, fizzy, sassy texture leaves a nice honey-sweet but not cloying finish.

Cask. Appearance is orangish amber, with a smal off-whte head. Nose is lightly fruity, caramely sweet, and light hopped. Taste is is similar, with the sweetness and fruitiness dominating. Hop bitterness in the finish. Cask conditioning is pretty nice, soft carbonation. Overall, a decent brew that is nice on cask.

Draft at Birreria Paradiso. Thick brown-amber color. Mellow CO2, big flavor. Super malt depth, some pungent raisin and fig. Slight alcohol warmth won’t go unnoticed. A little lacking in effervescence compared to the bottle, which I remember enjoying much more. Rating only reflects the draft version sampled.

Bottle at T&M’s from Drewbeerme THX!. Pours a slightly hazy brown. Smells of chestnuts and hitns of alcohol. Sweet with malty aromas of nuts and and some caramel. Tiny hints of nuts. Some fruity notes. Medium to full bodied. Beginning to be over the top but still really good.
