Cask ale festival. Big beer, malty sweetness, lots of brown sugar, molasses, touch of banana flavors. Alcohol fairly present. Not bad, but couldn’t drink a ton of it.

cloudy deep purpl color, looks like prune juice. Aroma entails the sweet smell of wild cherries and plum, flavor is a very creamy, carmel malt with a little cherry acidity. Lots of thick dark fruits. Deliscious. Bottle at Knightly Spirits, Orlando.

Out of the bottle. Deep red with gold tinges and an amazing big lacy head, slightly hazy. Malts jump out of the glass with loads of biscuit and bread. The alcohol rears its head on the nose. Full mouthfeel that balances well with the taste. Great well balanced taste with biscuit, candied sugar and a surprisingly dry finish.

This is a full bodied beer. Big amount of malt and some toasty notes snuck in at the end of it. Getting a little sweetness as well.

Pours a medium-dark brown with a huge, fluffy white head. The beer is a little hazy and is not see-through. A great looking beer.
Smell is dark fruits, lots of raisins and some Belgian yeast.
The taste has some dark fruits, as well as some caramel malt and some sweetness which I guess is from the candi sugar. I don’t get any alcohol in the flavor. It can’t be easy to hide all the alcohol flavor and aroma in a 10 percent beer, but Allagash has pulled it off. The beer does give you a warming sensation in your chest, absolutely wonderful.
As large as the head was, the beer is not that carbonated which I really appreciate. The beer is not that thick in the mouthfeel, making it easy to drink. At 10 percent, this is very drinkable and could be dangerous since you can’t taste any of the alcohol. A great beer.

Lovely fruit filled nose. Can tell that hops and malts are in harmony from the first smell. Fruit flavors are a bit tart though. Tasty stuff.
