Vary hazy pour, the color of caramel. Strong aroma. The taste is predominately malty, with a fruity tangerine in the background.

Bomber. Rich amber color with a big foamy, white head. Hoppiness in the aroma makes it smell almost like a DIPA mixed with some belgian dubbel. Nice balance of fruit flavors, bread, and bitterness. Good stuff, and way too drinkable for 10% alcohol.

I was really into this. 750ml bottle, I’m pretty sure it was at least a year old but hard to tell as there was no date. Price sticker was old and lower than this year’s batch, I think. Lower carbonation also indicated an older brew, and the taste seemed a bit mellowed out in a good way. Bright orange pour with a red tint. Nice and cloudy throughout. Hops were definitely present throughout but not dominating. Also wasn’t overly sweet in a way that sometimes turns me off (I’m looking at you, Reverend). In fact, it had a nice slight sourness to it. Some apple/pear fruit, dates, spice, wood, malt, hops. A little good must. I’ll definitely drink more.

Caged and corked. This poured bright red-orange, highly active and inviting. The aroma is sweetly sugary, and hinting at a ready-to-harvest orchard. This drinks with a predominately fruity character, pear, grape. Quite the effervescent drink, too. Nice after dinner sipper. (#3426, 4/16/2008)

750ml bottle, pours amber with off-white head, that mostly dissipates and leaves light lacing. Aroma more hoppy than other quads I’ve smelled, with hints of dark fruit and some tart apple/grape aroma. Sweet taste, moderately bitter with tart bitter finish. Pretty good American version of the Belgian style!

Cloudy orange pour with a tan diminishing head. Sour yeast aroma with citrus and spice. Sour plum, blackberry flavors with a sweet aftertaste. Nice blend for 10%. Sweet! #100.

Draft @ Trappeze. Pours reddish/brown with thin tan head. Aroma of dark fruits. Taste is spices and dark fruit. Not as bold as some quads. Easy drinking and very enjoyable.
