Some grape, charry and apple. Some darker fruits under the surface. A hint of yeast is also present. Smoothe mouthfeel. Sweet fruity flavors up front. Some of the aforementioned fruits are present in the flavor. Finish has a more roasty raisin quality. Full flavored and bodied, with well hidden alcohol. Good stuff. Pours a deep garnet with a hard white head. The aroma is fruity with a bit of yeast and malt characteristics. Flavor is sweet in the beginning, with the fruit notes as well as some spice and wood notes. Alcohol content is reasonably well-hidden. I’m a sucker for quads and this is a great example of the style.
