| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 15, 2005 Pours thick with a small head. Aroma is almost exclusively yeast and alcohol, and the flavor follows suit, except malt-flavored spices are added. Actually, the alcohol isn’t much of a factor in the taste. Aftertaste is leftover yeast and spice. Not bad. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 8, 2005 Reddy-orange, clouded hue, execellent head formation. Mildly burnt, fruity malt with cloves and apple. Fruity sweet palate, green apple and grapes, slightly wooody, alcohol is noticeable but well balanced. Slightly sweet bready, burnt aftertaste. No sensation for a quadro but pretty good stuff. 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 6, 2005 Bottle from Styles. Deep amber in color. Decent white head. Fruity and yeasty aromas. Medium bodied. Flavors run the same as aroma with a bit of fruitiness and yeast. Alcohol is hidden fairly well. A bit more hopped up than expected. Solid quad but not world class. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 6, 2005 I could have used this warmer in January... Clear brown with red highlights and a short-lived fizzy white head, this has a fruity aroma, cherry mostly, with perhaps some orange or other less tart citric fruit. It’s light-bodied but lively. The taste is yeast fruit flavors with the smallest hint of the advertised four hops but a serious hit of alcohol. It’s got a sticky fruity finish highlighted by the strong ABV. Nice. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 3, 2005 Bottle: Aroma is sweet, fruity, light yeast, spices, and light tartness. Pours a reddish-orange with lots of sediment and small white head. Very nice flavor. Fruity, yeasty, and light citrus up front. Finishes lightly hoppy. Very good and very drinkable. Thanks to Styles. loweredsixth (942), Fresno, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 26, 2005 Cloudy amber color with a large, frothy beige head. The aroma was full of clove, musk cologne, grass, and coriander. The flavor was filled with musky perfume tones, grass, and coriander. The feel was very crisp, lively, bubbly, with a dry finish. I was not blown away by this at all. Good, but not great. flutetokill (515), Fresno, California, USA
