UPDATED: APR 7, 2014 Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a very dark amber color with a large foamy orange-tan head that faded and left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet with notes of bread, honey, table sugar and golden fruits. The flavor was dryish and tangy with notes of bread and table sugar. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Decent but fairly subdued for style.

Bottle, 75cl corked. An unclear, dark amber beer topped by a dense, off-white head that lasts and leaves lacings. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with some dried fruits and white sugar. A bit boring, but sure nice. Some alcohol too, both in the aroma and flavor. Some bitterness to deal with the sweetness, with dried fruits, white sugar, pine cone notes and some grassy hints. Full body with some warmth. Lasting sweet, bitter and lighlty alcoholic finish. Overall, too sweet for my likings, but nice anyway. 140301
