COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A blend of 3 french oak wine barrels filled with a Belgian style sour red ale. Aged for 18 months with our house brettanomyces strain and local raspberries.

Unclear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, berries, sour berries, raspberry, tart, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic long duration,sour and dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100624]

Entered to celebrate my rating number 17,200. Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, malt, wood, and oranges. The flavor is sweet and sour with notes of citrus fruits, brettanomyces, wood, fruits, malt, and caramel. Nice one. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Very delicious Bretty and berry-like nose. Medium body, tart berry accents - blackcurrant - lots of dry Brett and a distinct sweet woodiness, a little lactic as well. Dry and slightly astringent finish. Yummy indeed. 240610

Bottle at yespr. Hazy orange coloured with a medium sized white head. Light acidic aroam of oak and vanilla with notes of berries. Light acidic flavour of berries, oak and vanilla. Tart finish.

Bottle at Yespr - Thanks. Cloudy amber/brown - white head. Lacto, sourness, sweetness, wheaty, fruity, acid tartness, sharpness, woode, oakey, roasted notes, red berries, vanilla, bretty, tartness. Nice.
