Golden Brett is a dark golden colored beer, brewed with Victory, 2-Row and Red Wheat malt. It was lightly hopped with a blend of Northern Brewer and Simcoe hops. The beer started it’s primary fermentation in a stainless tank and finished fermentation in a 800 gallon oak foudre. The finished beer has fruity nose and flavors of citrus, apricot and bread crust. The mild tartness of the beer gives way to a long, clean finish.

Odeur de pêches, forte anticipation de surette. robe gold légèrement troublée. Amertume/sour bien sympathique ! Fruité et vif (huhuhu). A des arômes typiques de vieillissement matos dans être trop présent.

375 ml bottle shared by TwoSipDip at the RBSG presidential suite post-something tasting. Thanks, Tony! Pours a cloudy gold color with a white head. Notes of big bretty funk, apricot, peach, grapes, straw, wheat, oak, and bread. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a fruity, funky mouthfeel. Really nice brett sour.

Bottle shared at RBSG 2014 in the fart dungeon. Barnyard and lemon in the nose. A hazy, dark yellow pour. Strong lemon in the flavor with a drying finish. Some light smokiness in there too that is just a touch off

Bottle shared at the Thursday Petey Fart/Rake Dungeon (St Louis, MO). Pours a well hazed frothy amber orange, frothy whitish head atop sits around and laces well. Aromas are funky and bretty, touches of pineapple, lemon and cobwebs. Gentle vanillin, bread, straw, and cobwebs. Initial is lighter end of the fold, touches of pineapple, funk and cobwebs. Mellow oak, bread, straw, gentle pear. Middle is a bit sweet, bready and cobwebs meet touches of straw, cobwebs. Firmer pineapple, gentle lactic yogurty feel meets some vanilla. Finish is dry, funky, a bit tart overall. Solid stuff, pretty approachable.

Bottle thanks for sharing. Pours a near clear yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is full of Brett notes with a hint of earthy fruit and grains. Flavor has a bit more tartness with some earthy funk and a touch if sweetness in the finish.
