Golden Brett is a dark golden colored beer, brewed with Victory, 2-Row and Red Wheat malt. It was lightly hopped with a blend of Northern Brewer and Simcoe hops. The beer started itís primary fermentation in a stainless tank and finished fermentation in a 800 gallon oak foudre. The finished beer has fruity nose and flavors of citrus, apricot and bread crust. The mild tartness of the beer gives way to a long, clean finish.

Draft at Samís Quik Shop. Pours a hazy dark golden with a white thick head. Nose is brett, bread, fruity, with hints of peaches, lemons, and some floral notes, even chamomile. Slight funk and a nice tart acetic kick, but still so very drinkable. Could drink it all day.

Bottle from Bertís Slightly hazy solid golden color with a huge rocky frothy white head that persists forever. Holy Fruitiness batman, huge apricot peach aromas as soon as I popped the cork and lingering at every sip. The earthy funky aromas are there and every now and then I catch a whiff of earthy spicy hops. Big funky earthy flavor with a touch of pineapple. Kind of a sulfur mineral tannic flavor comes next and is a tad off putting. Lingering tart and tropical fruitiness finishes this one off nicely. Intense aroma, good flavor, I could imbibe these.

375 ml bottle purchased at Kittery, ME 7-11. Haziness in a deep golden color. Aroma is Miley funky yeast, dried straw with a very restrained malt. Not to shabby.

The flavor has a solid Bretty yeast as the backbone with a substantial amount of oak in the finish with a pleasant amount of tartness. The malt isnít really noticeable with the oak and tartness. Honestly this is a balanced sour and much more enjoyable for my palate. Pretty nice drinker, liked it more then I would have guessed.

375ml bottle pours a golden color with a bit of head. Wonderful fruity aroma. Flavors of passion fruit and apricot. Very sweet, but the flavors don't come together so well.

Bottle from not sure. Clear golden with dense white head and lace. Tropical fruit bread and woody funk aroma. Tropical fruity mild sweetness with tangy wheat and funky fresh woody farmhouse finish with some lingering fruit rind bitterness. Medium light with fine carbo. Not super complex but definitely super delicious.

Bottle from shelf. Gold pour, great pop from the cork, high carbonation. Aroma of a deep genuine funk with some citrus. Slightly musty, funky. Lightly tart. This is a great beer, but great beers seem to be the norm these days at this price point ($15/375ml). Good tick, wouldnít buy again.

Orange pour from draft at Pazzos. White foamy head. Orange, lemon, and oak aroma. Had a dank, fruity taste. Malty and citrus. Not bad at all.
