Mar 3, 2007 Another really nice beer from Allagash. While having this nearly at the same time as the Dubbel, this was my least favorite of the two. It was still nice though. Aroma was musty with some fruits and yeast. Appearance was a hazy deep burnt orange with a nice off-white head. Flavors were yeast, fruty, malty with a twinge of hops present. Mouthfeel is full and round.

Mar 1, 2007 Pours very nicely. Aroma is sweet. Appearance is perfectly dark brown with a thin lacey head. Mouthfeel is smooth and sweet. Lasting after taste of malts. Flavor is full of carbinated malts. Overall a good beer thats worth a try.

Feb 28, 2007 Pours out a hazt brown color with a froathy white head. Aroma is fruity, and spicy. Flavor has a nice sweetness to it with a wonderful spicy yet yeasty finish. Another outstanding brew from allagash.

Feb 26, 2007 [Bottle, February 2007] Orange/yellow pour. Aroma is citrusy and slight banana. Flavor is citrusy. Finish is crisp and wet.

Feb 25, 2007 Bottle. Pour is a hazy, dark amber color with a small, dense head. Aromas are of bananas, cloves, citrus and yeast. Flavor includes all of the above, but is a bit less full than I expected. It’s not watery, but it’s not really strong, either.

Feb 23, 2007 Pours a cloudy orange with a nice white head. Lots of grape in both the aroma and the taste, as well as some light citrus (orange, maybe?), banana, and cinnamon. Not a great example of the style but more drinkable than some other, possibly better examples, of the style. Hopefully that makes sense.

Feb 20, 2007 Batch 14. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with off-white head. Aroam of malts, dried fruit and yeast. Taste was fruit, mild spices, lightly sweet maltiness. Mellow and medium bodied beer. Quite enjoyable.
