Gingery corriander aroma with soft banana, subtle noble hops, some detectable spices, a little musty, and no obvious alcohol. Flavour: spicy spices, corriander, black pepper, well balanced sweet / bitter (both are significant). Some fruitiness: banana, white grape, curranty hops. Sweetness is from malt. Woody bitter mixed with some alchohol. Medium body, a tad warming, and medium carbonation. cvillebeer (134), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Dec 31, 2005 This was a very nice, fruity ale that went wonderfully with my dinner of chicken and sesame-peanut noodles. Yum. Amber with a nice subdued fruity/spicy/yeasty aroma and flavor- it was very, how shall I say (I hate to use the phrase) "drinkable". Anyway, good and recommended, though not exactly exciting.
