Mixed aroma of yeast and spices. Complex flavors consisting of malts, wood, smoke, caramel, and spices. Dry finish, slightly acidic. BillKismet (1441), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 27, 2008 The color of preserved amber with a filling fluff head. Wonderfully complex aroma of spices and yeast. Notes of pepper and a twinge of uric acid. Light string of smoke. Some licorice in flavor along with spicy caramel sweetness. Not a lot of zing, but flavorful all the same. mansquito (643), Boston/Philadelphia, USA Sep 20, 2008 Pours a cloudy grapefruit colored body. Has a small head that leaves a rather thin lacing. Really strong fruity aroma... ironically in conjunction with the appearance: grapefruit. Strong fruity taste. Heavy on the malts. Kind of burnt taste in a way. Medium bodied. And it has a bitter dry finish with a mild aftertaste. Monger (472), Roscoe, Illinois, USA Sep 6, 2008 750 ml bottle. Pours a hazyy amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma of yeast, spices and grapefruit. Flavor of spices, malt , citrus and light hops. The taste of coriander is very evident in the end. Has a dry slighty metallic finish.
