| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 4, 2008 Hazy golden-amber with a fairly thick head. The aroma is rich with Belgian yeast - musty, footy, with fresh bread, herbal hops and dried fruit. Starts sweet, with almost candied herbs. From there a more bitter note emerges. Even to the finish it remains fairly sticky. While this does not entirely fit, it’s not too disjointed - I still like it but those hop flavours and especially aromas have my craving something drier. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, some alcohol. Taste is medium sweet, orange, some earthy, Belgian yeast, light wood, dry finish. Medium-full body. Despite the name, this seemed to have a fairly muted hop character.
