GABF 2007. Poursto a hazy yellow body with a very thin white head. The aroma is funky fruits and yeast laden malts. Tart pineapple. Very interesting malts/hops/yeasts/beasties. The flavor is a yeasty pale malt with some funky fruits. The palate is medium bodied, creamy and tart. Belgian.

Golden pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is very fruity, the cherry is incredibly prominent. Flavor is much the same, sweet carame , the tripel held up pretty well, The Cherries come through with a really juicy sweetness that intensifies in the middle of the sip. Interesting, don’t know if Id want to drink more than a couple ounces, but a successful infusion of cherries into an already very nice tripel.

GABF 2007. Nice acid bite in a fresh nose, with buttery farm house things in the malts and yeast wafting up as well. In the mouth, the tartness is nicely restrained, just enough to bite and get the mouth watering, but not puckering or dominant. The cherries aren’t dominant either, just an accent. This seems to be an amalgam of accents, nothing ever taking the fore, everything remaining balanced. That being said, the lack of a dominant note means that this just seems to lack something despite its nice subtlety. Still, very very tasty beer.

Multiple samples, GABF 2007. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly yeasty (barnyard), with notes of lemon zest and sour apple. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, yeasty. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Pretty disappointing...I expected something very rustic and sour along the lines of something from Vinnie’s workshop, but there just wasn’t much to it. I kept going back for more, thinking I was missing something, but alas, I couldn’t find much to inspire.

Sampled at GABF 2007. Cloudy dark yellow in color with athick poofy white head. Fruity estery bubble gum aroma. Apple cider and pineapples in the flavor. Perhaps a splash of vanilla as well. Tartness appears late in the mouth for a drying oaky finish.

GABF 2007. Pours a cloudy, burnished gold color with a thick head of foamy white. Light fruity pear and muscat grape esters mingle pleasantly with some musty funk. Notes of barnyard and fermented cabbage, which combines with the acidity to form an interesting sauerkraut nose. Medium-full bodied mouthfeel with a soft, melting carbonation. Lots of pale fruits up front on the palate, with flavors of pear, golden delicious apple, and even a touch of pineapple. Funky barnyard grows in the finish, which is loaded with dry oak characters.

GABF. Tart aromas. More tart in the aroma than the flavor. The flavor was a bit sweeter. Hints of wood too. Not bad.

Sampled at GABF. Aroma of sweet and tart fruit, cherries and berrries. Flavors of some tartness, like a chardonney aged in oak.

GABF 2007. Mildly sour. Much like a wheat beer w/ a little sourness. Too much wheat flavor. Not a big fan of this one.

Tap @ GABF 2007 Very nice sour cherry aroma and taste. Slightly fizzy cherry is well displayed and not overwhelming- the same with the sourness. Very good beer.
