Vintage 2006. A hazy orange-amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of both citrus and metal, from the alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty, but also with a hint of acidity, under the notes of citrus and wood. The acidity gets more pronounced towards the end.

Bottle, 2007, 9.5% at KØ07. Acidic and vinous aroma. Hazy dark orange colour. Small white head. The flavour is not as acidic as suggested by the aroma, but nice with some earth. Peppery aftertaste. Actually well-balanced in my opinion.

Corked bottle, vintage 2007 Hazy copper-amber color, shining; the foam is initially quite frothy, but reduces to a thin consistent layer. The aroma is immediately sour, some vinegar, sour apples, wood and a hint of wet cellar. Good mouthfeel, medium body strength, with dryish malt flavor, and a light woody acidity to make it more complex; there are even traces of ammonia. It has the right bitterness, and in the final there is a very light astringency too. Interesting.
