COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prince Tuesday was first brewed in 2011 for the 1st Annual Maine Brewer’s Guild Festival in Boothbay. A celebration of good neighbors and the beer we make, this beer combines Maine grown rye, copious amounts of hops, and a Belgian yeast strain. In further celebration of good neighbors, we are donating a portion of the proceeeds to Portland Trails. www.trails.org

Bottle 750ml. Pours blond with vey low white head. Aroma and taste are of fruits and malt. Overall: Not very good. Somewhat watery. I’ve never been much of a rye lover. Well I dunno why, this one did not make it for me.

bottle shared by david, thanks! pours hazy pale yellow with a nice white head, some retention and lacing. fresh cereals - rye-ish, citrusy and strawberry-like hops, floral, white grapes - very fruity. spicy-citrusy light to medium hopping for a nice slightly lingering finish. bright carbonation, light body. enjoyable, even though an assertive grainy character was anticipated.

Lovely! Pours slightly cloudy straw with a thick foamy head hat lasts a bit and long lacing. Nose is yeast, maybe some barnyard and spice. Aromas of are well layered... Flowery hops, some citrus, some cereal and a nice spice and bitter finish. Tastes are very light sweet up front with a medium bitter and dry finish. Medium body with lively carbonation. Really solid beer!

Pours a nice golden almost copper color with a big frothy eggshell head. Its a nice combination of all three breweries with nice hop notes on the nose from Maine Beer Co. and some touches of Allagash yeast strain in the background aromas... on the palate its got a nice spicy rye body from Rising Tide and a good balance with the Belgian yeast notes and fresh hops flavors. Its a good beer and Im happy to support Portland trails... but the fact they are gouging the consumer for $21 for this seems like the consumer is really the person donating the money because based on the cost I dont think it s coming out of the brewers end !

Pours clear gold with a medium white head...lively with nice retention and lacing. Aroma has some fruity notes, very faint farmy notes, and a touch of rye. Flavor has nice grassy and spicy hops...a bit of frutiness...rye...slightly perfumey but it works. Mouthfeel is medium/full and lively with a dry grassy/rye/perfumey finish.

Hazy blonde with a good thick white head that leaves a great ring. Fruit salad on the nose with bubble gum esters. Light to medium body, good carbonation, fruit salad again on the palate, a bit of sweet citrus, medium bitterness, a bit of spicy hop and a pleasant lingering fruitiness and finishes on a great dryness. Did’nt felt like a 8% beer, could drink this all day! Great Belgian IPA.

Bottle… Hazy golden ale with a large, pillowy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma furnishes notes of resiny hops, herbs, biscuit malt and rye. Medium to full-bodied and raspy with busy carbonation. The flavor offers spicy-sweet rye malt and loads of citrusy, rindy and grassy hop bitterness. Crisp, moderately bitter, drying finish. Bottle courtesy of biggsbowler!

On tap at Great Lost Beer, fresh and down the street from these breweries. Big C-hop, tasty and lacey on a cloudy yellow body. Fuller mouthfeel. Carbonation is right there. Hoppy for an Allagash, that’s probably the Rising Tide contribution.

A hazed golden ale with a thick frothy white head. In aroma, a beautiful resinous and floral hops, with wild grass, biscuit malt, rye notes. In mouth, a beautiful crisp fruity malt with citrus pulp, floral and grassy hops, delectable. On tap at brewery, July 31, 2012.
