Pours dark red-copper, OK white head. Smell is very intense milksour. ( it reminds me of a rodenbach vintage) taste is very sour, dry, elegant raspberry aroma. Intensely sour backbone.

Bottle @ Drink Rich’s American beer, thanks to Omgrich.

Bottle @ home. Hazed reddish amber colored beer with white foam. Deep raspberry aroma and flavor to this. Very pleasant tartness, though a subtle acetic quality to it. Lots of oak, grass, and tannins. A bit of a jammy sweetness to the flavor as well. Slight citrus and some mild wet/damp funk. Maybe a hint of mushroom? Anyway, pretty nice and one of the better Allagash sour beers I’ve had in awhile.

375 c&c from B n B - whatever that meant. Pours dark, clear copper with a slight whitish head. Aroma of raspberries with a definite lactic tang. Med + body. Flavor is raspberry, some lactic, some wood. It’s dry and astringent and very, very berry. Wonderful stuff.

Bottle. Deep grapefruit juice color. Huge raspberry aroma and flavor. Tart, lactic yeast dominates with oak barrel notes. Perfume. Long finish with a little burn. Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
