Pouring at session one of Belgian Beer Fest in Boston. Pours a hazed amber orange with a medium sized beige head. Raspberries, funk, chewy fruit. Loads of funky raspberry. Gorgeous. Long tart fruit, big acid, funky and tart. Long tart acid finish. Awesome stuff. Went back multiple times for this, beer of the whole weekend.

Sampled at Brewvival 2012. One of the first beers of the day, and definitely one of the best ones there. Clear copper pour with ring of white head. The funky earthy nose was quite good, but the flavor just sent it over the top. Fantastic tart raspberry through and through. perfect amount of acidity. A truly lovely sour.

Bottle served at Brewvival 2012. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium sized fizzy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of tart berries, citrus, earthy and acetic notes. The taste is tart berries, cherries, earth and tart acetic notes. Medium bodied.

Hazy orange-brown pour with a thin tan head. Fresh raspberry aroma. Sour raspberry pie flavor. Light oak on the finish. A bit acetic but not bad.

hazy orange-tan, thin white ring. Heavy raspberry and acetic notes, light seed and ethanol. Flavor sweeter, heavy seed, light raspberry, toast and chocolate, sticky and dry but acid giving it bounce through incredibly fruity, multi faceted sticky finish.

Drinking this side by side with half a dozen lambics and while it is certainly a nice beer, the acetic acid and dirty sock note definitely differentiate it from the others. Still, this is a very nice sour. The acetic acid is just under the level where it would really start to detract from it. Really nice fresh raspberry.

Bottle. Pours lightly hazy amber with a small, fizzy off-white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is heavy raspberry, cookie and toast malt, light hops with oak notes and earthy yeast. Flavor is heavy raspberry and tartness, light malt, medium hops and light bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation with low warmth.

Pours cloudy copper with average white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is sour fruit, sweet malt, spice, and grassy hops. Flavor is average malt, faint hops, and heavy esters; dry, tart finish. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.

A Sim rate (Extreme Beer Festival, Boston): This was, far and above, the beer of the festival. We must’ve gone back for at least 10 of these (mind you, they were 2oz pours)! So incredibly sour with cherry and pomegranate. The sourness just made you crave more with its lip-puckering flavour. Smells of cherry sour sweets. Just couldn’t get enough of this. Really wish it was available to buy!
