Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of Brett, honey, citrus, toast, light vanilla. Taste of grass, toast, lighter sweet malts, wild finish.

ClarkVV (4088) - Allston, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 30, 2015
Draught at Lord Hobo, 5/27/15 and Foundry on Elm, 5/28/15
Marmalade colored body has a drab bronze tint to it with a small white head that shows moderate to low retention. Clarity is medium-high.
Tons of brett in the nose, not surprisingly, mixing with the lime and mineral-heavy mosaic hops to produce a surprisingly aggressive, or at least strong, aroma for such a small beer. Tart and acidic with sharp floral notes and just a brush of biscuity-like malts. No alcohol or flaws in the nose, quite sniffable, though a bit bare and needing more malt backing.
Absolutely bizarre flavor. At first the brett acids hit and are pleasantly tart, with plentiful lime, hickory skin, and band aid. But right at the brett’s heels is a very large dose of hop acidity. Strangely, the hop flavor never really follows. It’s as if they just used bittering hops for this beer (and way, way too many). Resinous and very unbalancing, with the lightly sticky texture rather off-putting, which is a shame because the brett is lovely here. Medium light body, lively carbonation; just too resinous. Not sure what they were going for with this beer.

On tap at Row 34. Pour is clear golden with a big white head and sticky lacing. Papaya, pssiokfruit, pineapple, lightly herbal, medicinal, some bandaid, bretty, and doughy aroma. Taste is band-aid, grassy, pineapple, orange zesty, passion fruit, some cracker notes - highly dry - medicinal, and herbal with a lightly tart finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Great Belgian ale.

Draft at the Ginger Man NYC. Pours a clear, pale yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma leaps out of the glass, yeast, Brett, pineapple, light grapefruit. Medium on the palate with big, soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet, light bread, loads of Brett yeast, some bitter grapefruit, with a sharp, Brett finish. Really interesting.

radarsock (1113) - Massachusetts, USA - MAR 31, 2015
UPDATED: APR 3, 2015 Had on tap at the Ale House. $6.50 for the full pint. To tulip, it pours an effervescent light orange with which a trim, white head 1 finger in length stood.
Aromas of horse blanket, cilantro, dried spearmint, sourdough, English noble hops, wool, and some brief citrus/lime meat.
Tastes much the same with the addition of cracked white pepper, sweat, and cherry tomatoes.

A little table sugar experienced by swallow followed by a pleasing crisp dryness alongside hints of coriander and mint.
Easily palatable, but also a fairly typical Allagash wild.
Liked that the abv was so attractively low (4.5% listed on menu)

Pours a hazy dark straw from a tap. Aroma is a blend of piney hops, some slight malt with a hit of sweat sock funk on top. Flavor is kind of the same. Interesting.
