A hazy orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet spicy combined with notes of peaches, alcohol, and hints of hops. The flavor is very sweet and very spicy - I detect coriander, but also a fruitiness with peaches coming thru. The end is dry and still spicy.

Hazy gold - amber beer. Softish dry palate. Subtly spiced malt with a distinct orange sherbet but also something else vegetal. Finishes dry soft and spicy with alcohol aniseed and warmth. Tasty and drinkable.

Bottle, 2005, at the Funky 6. Pours hazy gold with a medium head. Fruity malt aroma with some spices, Belgian yeast and alcohol. Sweet flavor peach and citrus, Belgian sugar, more spices and light wood. Medium to full in body with modest carbonation. Finishes sweet and spicy with light booze. Delicious and excellent.

Bottle thanks to jcwattsrugger. Clear amber pour. White head. Nose is sweet malts, Belgian yeast. Very bready and grassy. Taste is spice, yeast, orange peel and vanilla.

(750ml bottle) Hazy apple juice body with big off white head, most of which dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, lemon, coriander, light pepper. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, lemon, some banana, cantalope, pepper, coriander, light herbal, alcohol. Creamy medium-full body that leaves a light coating on the tongue, some acidity in the finish. I was skeptical of the concept, but I should have known better than to doubt Allagash (other than for Curieux).

Tasted at Belgium Comes to Cooperstown, July 16, 2005. Hazy blonde ale with a thick white head. Light sweet malt with orange peels and cilantro. Good sweet malt with light spiceyness, mainly curacao, and medium bodied.
