Tiarna is a blend of two beers, one aged in oak and fermented with 100% brettanomyces and the other fermented in stainless with a blend of two Belgian yeast strains. Both beers were brewed with a combination of 2 row and wheat malt in addition to specialty grains. It was hopped with Hallertau, Styrian Goldings and Cascade hops.

Une vraie wild ale à la robe dorée et à la fine mousse. Le nez explose de notes levurées et acidulées et la bouche est droite, nette, longue et équilibrée. Un délice.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a hazy dark yellow color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour, hop and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sour flavor with a medium sour finish of moderate duration. This is also a solid beer.

375 ml bottle from Lukaduke shared with the group. Pours a hazy golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have a nice Brett funk, oak, some fruit, tart, yeast, the hops left must add to the fruit character, solid drinking beer, I enjoy almost everything in this series.

375 ml bottle to snifter (shared by alexsdad06). Looks good: a cloudy apricot with white head that dissipates into lacing pretty quickly. Smells semi-sweet and semi-tart with notes of oak, funk, and fruity hops. Tastes like it smells with a pleasant medium-bodied mouthfeel. Good beer.

Has a sour, almost peachy aroma. Woody and dry. Descent amount of body. Not too sour, maybe 3 of 10, some lactic and some earthy wet wool funk, predominantly wet wool and limited lactic. Complex and flavorful. Dry white grape Woody feel to the finish. Solid for a 100% Brett beer and has nice complexity. I like it overall and as far as Brett beers go. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

375ml bottle from Cabin Craft Beer. Aroma: great oaky, vanilla, vinous, and a tad of pineapples and citrus. App: cloudy light golden, medium white head great retention, great lacing. Taste and palate: light body, light texture, moderate carbonation, light dry acidity and citrusy finish. Overall: love the texture of this one. Nothing over the top except that great dry acidity finish. Really really well made. Great citrus taste.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Hazy golden with a big white head. Great funky brett aroma with manure, fresh fruits, sweat, oak. Flavor is slightly sweetish, mildly tart, with bretty funk, fruitiness, wood, herbal note. Medium-bodied. Really good.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a mostly clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is very funky and herbal with hints of aged cheese. The flavor is oaky, mildly tart and very funky with a little melon, pineapple and hay-like brett funk. Herbals and light phenols in the finish. Great, smooth mouth feel. Awesome stuff. Not too sour. Mostly wild, funky and fruity. Lot’s of complexity here.
