COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This golden hued ale is marked by passion fruit and herbal notes in the aroma, with subtle suggestions of banana and honey surfacing from its deep and complex palate. The Tripel's finish is remarkably long and soothing.

Bottle sample. Hazy light gold, nice white head. Aroma of yeast, apricot, perfume, floral hops, sugar and esters. Sweet, dusty, peach, yeast, spices, medium bitterness, clove. Gassy, alcoholic, potent. OK for style.

A - pours clear light straw with almost head that lease a micro bubbled ring. S - the aromas of Brian yeast punch you in the face. Honey and very floral. A little metallic and wet dog. Very tripel. M - medium body. Slippery mf and slightly thicker end. Dry and very lightly sticky end. T - shocking news! This tastes like a Belgian tripel. Sweet and very Belgian. Yeasty, bubble gum. Cloves, candied citrus, candied sugar. Cloves and coriander. Bitter dandelion greens. O - Belgian tripel. Duh. 3.3

Pours hazy golden with 2 fingers of head. Nose is bready, with spices, clove, banana, Belgian yeast. Taste is buttery biscuit, spices, clove, on the sweet side, some fruit hiding in the background, the allagash yeast is there. Creamy and effervescent, moderate carbonation, with some alcohol warmth at the end. Another top tier Belgian from one of the best in the country. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A thin tripel compared to its Belgian counterparts. Crisp, hints of hay and banana. Great bite on the aftertaste.

Drought. Golden yellow with beige creamy head, doughy aroma, low carbonation, sweetish taste with strong alcohol in the background, rich bodiy, alcohol aftertaste after a medium finish. The alcohol taste is too prominent and somehow destroys the taste buds.

Poured from 12 oz bottle. Appears somewhat hazy and wheat colored in glass. Smells woody along with the characteristic yeast smell from style. Tastes of banana and wheat, with subtle sweetness. Has a creamy mouth feel.

355ml (I think) bottle. Poured a slightly hazy gold colour, big puffy head. Light, fruity aroma, white grape, some coriander, light basement and citrus. More sweetness in the taste than the aroma, some honey, more coriander than I’d prefer. A bit of herbal hops. Light body for the strength. Overall, there are some things about this I like, and some things that I do not, but overall more good than bad.

Bottle. The Tripel Reserve really surprised me. This was a fantastic beer. I’ll look out for this again in the future.

Aroma of apricot, banana and candied sugar. Darker yellow color. Overall a sweet taste, but the lasting finish is a bitter alcohol. Sinks that way in the gut too, even if not very heavy. This is a more aggressive version of a basic tripel.
