This golden hued ale is marked by passion fruit and herbal notes in the aroma, with subtle suggestions of banana and honey surfacing from its deep and complex palate. The Tripel's finish is remarkably long and soothing.

A: Pours cloudy golden-orange hue with a durable off-white head. The head lasted until the beer was gone, thoroughly coated the glass with lace when tilted, and left some patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma & T: Complex and sweet aroma features tropical fruits, pear, and light spices. The taste has these characteristics too, but add some tartness, traces of wild and Belgian yeast, and some alcohol esters. M: Medium body; medium-high but soft carbonation. O: Excellent and well-balanced mix of flavors and aromas: an impressive Tripel even by Belgian standards.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks kerenmk. Batch #189. Hazy deep golden with a big white head. Aroma has some fruity esters, yeast, light spiciness and a bit of wheat. This was an impressive Tripel – very complex in flavor and aroma and enough alcohol to make it interesting.

Bottle from Corvallis Brew Supply via Phil. Batch #149. Pours a cloudy golden color, little bit of white head. Aroma is funky and citrusy. Medium body, finish very estery and sweet, lots of banana. Turns dry, hints of brett. Superb.

Bottle pours a nice frothy head that laces the glass. Poured into a tulip glass for Belgian brews, hints of banana and spice, but not overwhelming, allows the gentle hops, light malt and dry profile to show through. Outstanding effort, a slight alcohol booziness. Drinking in the chill of March today, expect this would still be enjoyable on a warm July evening.

Pours a rich, hazy gold color with a two finger frothy white head. Smell is fruity and slightly malty. Strong yeast smell as well. Taste has lots of fruit and some malt to it. Belgian yeast and some alcohol as well. Lively carbonation with a smooth aftertaste. Very good, especially after aging for a few months.

Blonde voilée, mince mousse qui tient au parois. Arome levure, alcool, citron, herbe, mangue. Gout épicé, attaque le palais et la langue. Gout représentatif de l’arome. finale longue et chaleureuse. Bon, mais pas impressioné.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle thanks to lukaduke. Pours a hazy copper to gold with a whispy, cloudy white head of foam. Aroma has lots of banana and clove esters. Bready in the finish. Zesty. Bubbly mouthfeel. Very good tripel.
