Commercial Description:
This golden hued ale is marked by passion fruit and herbal notes in the aroma, with subtle suggestions of banana and honey surfacing from its deep and complex palate. The Tripel's finish is remarkably long and soothing.

750 ml bottle from batch 106 from a trade with thecheeseman. pours golden with a big white head. aromas are typical triple with yeast dominating but noticeable malt sweetness. flavours are extremely complex. wheat, yeast, belgian sweetness, caramel, chewy malts, banana, buttery breadiness, cloves, spice, hops. all that doesnt make for the most drinkable brew and every sip tasted kind of different. this probably should have been cellared for a year to let it mellow but hey what can ya do. good but not the best triple ive had.

750ml bottle from BevMo Mission Valley. Pours gold with big white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is zest, clove, honey, banana, and a hint of pepper. The flavor is banana bread with lots of autumnal spices. Warm finish and aftertaste. I am very impressed with the smoothness and balance of this one.

750mL bottle, Batch 83. Poured clear bright golden with a well-retained creamy white head and sticky lacing. The aroma picked up black peppery spices with sweeter pale malts and lighter fruits.. sweeter undertones of honey and banana.. very well balanced. The flavor found tart lighter fruit skins and peppery spices over lighter fruits, mild toffee and honey sweetness.. again very well balanced.. spicy, engaging finish. Creamy on the palate with full carbonation.. great balance between the sweet notes and the spices. Excellent!

Bottle. Batch 81. Golden color, hazy with a nice head. Aromas of fruit like banana and some malts. Good for style. Taste is sweet, alcohol is noticable but not too much. Good beer.

Great aroma - fruits, belgian yeast, honey. Loved the great interplay of the spicy flavors with subdued and controlled malty sweetness. Good.

Very nice... as noted by several raters, it’s not as sweet as you would expect from a tripel, but for me that’s a plus. Pours a hazy orange with a fluffy white head. Aroma is of tropical fruits with the typical yeasty bite. Flavor is a dry chardonnay-like fruitiness. This is complimented by the yeastiness... great american version of a belgian style.

750 ml bottle. The aroma is light stone fruit accompanied by sour. Hazy golden color with a lacing off-white head. Full bodied with creamy/chewy carbonation. Flavors are multiple. Bready malt, citrus, coriander, banana, other kinds of fruits. It is not sweet. It seems dry. It seems bitter. It seems to be a really good drink. The finish is clean and refreshing - weird to say that about a tripel. My mouth is puckering. It is a really good drink. Not that standard off-sweet tripel. Repeat: Good.
