Smells of banana, orange citrus, coriander and other spices. Great nose. The flavor has a great spice character to it, alot of orange citrus and coriander, maybe some clove. Well balanced with nice masking of the alcohol. One of the better tripels Ive ever had. a nice rendition of a usually boring style. Fantastic! rodgers004 (26), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 27, 2008 Big white head on a beautiful golden pour. Bold, penetrant, taste, from this great triple. Well balanced with subtle undertones. One of the best tripels I’ve had. lmoss (3), USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 26, 2008 On tap -- Light golden body, slight haze, terrific lacing from top to bottom.
Somewhat unexciting aroma of spices, fruits, yeast. Nothing mindblowing.
Initial mouthfeel is moderately carbonated. Taste is heavy citrusy fruits (orange, lemon), spices, initially malty, but a dry hoppy finish. I’m not tasting much of the 9%, either. Very drinkable. kmeves (1080), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 23, 2008 Pours a cloudy yellow-gold with a large frothy head and nice lacing. Aroma was very pronounced passion fruit, citrus hops and spices. The flavor was more fruity than the aroma would suggest. Soft yeast mixed with citrus is also apparent. Medium body, creamy texure. Average carbonation, long dry finish. juiceisloose (667), Windermere, Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 22, 2008 On draft this one poured a golden orange color with a medium foamy white head. The aroma is of sweet citrus and passion fruit with some belgian yeast and malts in there as well. Smells almost like fresh oranges. The flavor follows suit with the sweet citrus fruit and oranges coming through and blended with some candy sugar, honey, and belgian yeast. This one has a very sweet flavor to it with not too much spices in there like other tripels. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and almost creamy with a sweet sugary finish. The alcohol is masked really well in this one. I love all the sweet flavors this one had as it is probably my favorite tripel that I have had. I need to try more of their beers. golubj (1286), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 21, 2008 Bottle, batch #83. Clear yellow-gold pour; much like apple juice or urine. Aroma is like a mix of green grapes and green apples, with sugar and yeast. The flavor also has the green grape component, some other malty fruit, alcohol, and some spices in the finish. Pretty good beer, but the spices took over after drinking half the glass. tomthompson89 (1473), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
