Poured a nice yellow-tinged orange with a thin but sustained head. The aroma is lightly yeasty and moderately induced with citrus. The drink is musty and earthy with a creamy tone. Banana, yeast, corriander, maybe a hint of ginger, grass, grape cider. Very nice. (#3058, 8/17/2007) blinesam (233), USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Batch 97 from a 750 ml bottle. pale golden beer, crystal clear with a pillowy white head. Aroma is spicy with a soft apricot fruity sweetness. Slightly earthy on the nose as well with a soft bready maltiness that is quite unusual in this style. Very fruity, especially as it warms, giving off apple, pear, peach, apricot and a hint of banana with a soft wheaty background. There is a soft caramelly sweetness in back along with the bready character. Fruits seems overly ripe and the beer starts to get cloying. This bottle probably could have used another six months on it. cbeers21 (564), Miami, Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 3, 2007 Golden with nice, white persistent head, good lacing; pretty to look at. Wheaty, yeasty aromas with fruity, citrus spice scents as well. Flavors of wheat, banana, and fruit; with lingering spice and lengthy dry finish. Alcohol is well disguised considering the high abv. Very nice tripel Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 1, 2007 Golden pour, extremely frothy. Aroma of honey, grass, yeast and alcohol. Kind of like an overweight pils. Hint of Christmas spice and gingerbread. Strong and sweet on the tongue. A messy, hot green apple mash with bananas long since browned. Sugary and a little sulphuric. Wet hay sitting in the sun, and iron. Palate is slightly abrasive especially as it warms quite quickly. Smacks a a bit sour. This one really never came together. Thanks Andrew!
