4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from 12 oz bottle. Appears somewhat hazy and wheat colored in glass. Smells woody along with the characteristic yeast smell from style. Tastes of banana and wheat, with subtle sweetness. Has a creamy mouth feel.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
355ml (I think) bottle. Poured a slightly hazy gold colour, big puffy head. Light, fruity aroma, white grape, some coriander, light basement and citrus. More sweetness in the taste than the aroma, some honey, more coriander than I’d prefer. A bit of herbal hops. Light body for the strength. Overall, there are some things about this I like, and some things that I do not, but overall more good than bad.

Bottle. The Tripel Reserve really surprised me. This was a fantastic beer. I’ll look out for this again in the future.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma of apricot, banana and candied sugar. Darker yellow color. Overall a sweet taste, but the lasting finish is a bitter alcohol. Sinks that way in the gut too, even if not very heavy. This is a more aggressive version of a basic tripel.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a beautiful hazy gold with visible carbonation and a fat, fluffy, bubbly white head. Good wet lacing. Aroma is earthy malt with spicy fruit esters. Very pleasant. Taste is similar but booze dominates over the fruit esters. Grassy for sure and some banana flavor with lemon and honey. Some hop bitterness aftertaste. Very warming and heavy mouthfeel; moderate carbonation. Very drinkable, though a bit boozy.

One of the better American-made tripels. Golden, lots of aroma, mostly tropical fruit. Belgian yeast offers some banana as well.
